When the annual in-person leadership meeting "went virtual" due to Covid safety concerns, we helped our client design and execute an engaging, interactive, and aligned virtual leadership conference. We coached client keynote speakers, panelists, and facilitators to deliver an excellent experience for over 500 participants, arming them with virtual leadership tools critical to the hybrid workforce.
When the annual in-person leadership meeting "went virtual" due to Covid safety concerns, we helped our client design and execute an engaging, interactive, and aligned virtual leadership conference. We coached client keynote speakers, panelists, and facilitators to deliver an excellent experience for approximately 600 participants, arming them with virtual leadership tools critical to the hybrid workforce.
Situation: A prominent utility company, was confronted with the challenge of transitioning their annual company-wide leadership conference to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shift to a virtual environment posed difficulties in maintaining interactivity and addressing crucial topics such as customer service and burnout management.
Solution: The Improvision team assisted the client in completely revamping their leadership conference for a virtual setting. The conference was designed to be highly interactive, incorporating just-in-time training on customer service, a strategic priority, and burnout management, a persistent issue during the pandemic.
Improvision offered guidance on the utilization of virtual meeting technology, provided coaching to senior speakers, and trained client leaders to co-facilitate virtual breakout sessions that we designed. To ensure the smooth execution of the event, Improvision’s founder Shannan Scarselletta, traveled to New Orleans to emcee the entire conference.
Outcomes:
Successfully conducted a highly interactive virtual leadership conference during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Delivered just-in-time training on customer service and burnout management, addressing key strategic priorities and challenges.
Coached senior speakers and leaders to effectively facilitate virtual breakout sessions.
Smoothly executed the entire event with approximately 600 participants from across the southeastern United States over two years.
The success of the redesigned conference led to its implementation for both years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
